Awesome New Shirt for Dandy Boy Video from ooShirts

Hello everyone! I am sorry about the lack of content lately. I have been really busy with school and work, but I know that is no excuse. The good news is I have been working on filming a new Dandy Boy sketch. This new video should be up sometime this month. What makes this even better than the last is that I have a new Dandy Boy costume. I ordered the shirt from the awesome people over at www.ooshirts.com.
(screenshot from raw footage)

They had a variety of colors and sizes, designing the shirt was easy, and the cost was very reasonable. One of my favorite things about them is that there is no minimum for shirt orders. If you just want just one or a hundred, they will be able to help you out. They also have great customer service. When I had a small issue with my order, I was able to speak with a friendly representative who helped me out.

I have been really proud of the work on the video so far and this new costume really helps with that. Remember when I made the first Dandy Boy video and the costume was just construction paper taped to an old shirt? Those were much simpler times. I am glad to say that this video will be much higher quality. Here is hoping that brings out more funnies too. (It will.)

Be sure to check out ooShirts for your custom shirt printing needs.

Upcoming Video Game Movies and How They Could Work

Movies based off of video games. There have been many of them yet few are remembered fondly. Though for some reason there are many that are being made even as we speak. Some of them actually look pretty promising. For instance...

Angry Birds
(source)

This might seem like a weird one to have here since the Angry Birds fad seems to be over. I personally always thought Angry Birds was over rated anyways. This is exactly why I think a movie could work. The story of Angry Birds is simple, evil green pigs steal birds' eggs. Birds get angry and fight to get them back. This has the makings of a pretty cool movie. With the Angry Birds phenomenon dying down this is a perfect time to adapt the game to a small, simple story.

Tetris
(source)

Since Tetris has no story anything is fair game. I once saw a fan made trailer on YouTube about a guy who piloted huge Tetris pieces as a sport in the future. He dies in an accident and his brother takes his place. With a few tweaks this could be a pretty cool movie. Sadly I couldn't find this trailer but here is another one made by fans that looks pretty cool.

Minecraft

How can you possibly make a movie out of a game where the only limitation is your imagination. (sarcasm) The answer is What can't you do? This could be the most imaginative movie ever made. Especially since it is coming from the producer of the Lego Movie which was extremely creative.

Besides, you know what's popular right now? Zombies. Minecraft is full of them. Add all of this together and you have a recipe for the coolest apocalyptic world movie ever.

Asteroids
(source)

You know what else people like besides zombies, Outer space. Star Wars, Star Trek, Guardians of the Galaxy, Interstellar the list goes on. That's why a movie based on Asteroids could work. Imagine a story about an elite group of astronauts sent to stop asteroids from destroying Earth. I would watch that.

Roller Coaster Tycoon

Oh boy, a movie about running a theme park, how exciting. (more sarcasm) How could something like this possibly work? Some people have compared this to the movie “We Bought a Zoo.” That was about a man buying an old, run-down zoo and fixing to be successful. Something like this could work with an amusement park but I also like the idea of a movie about a man trapped in a park with no exits or bathrooms; only half-finished roller coasters.

Sonic the Hedgehog
(source)
You would be kidding yourself if you didn't think that the Sonic franchise has been going downhill lately. I was never a huge Sonic fan but somehow a dark and gritty movie about a talking blue hedgehog who runs fast and collects rings might be so weird that it works. Kind of like when Disney and Final Fantasy got together to make Kingdom Hearts. At the very least this movie will be so bad that it's good. The only chance it really has is to get Jaleel White to voice Sonic like in the cartoons.

                                                          Yep, same guy.

Super Mario Bros.
(source)

It appears that Nintendo has finally put the failure of the 1993 Mario movie behind them because negotiations are going on with Sony to adapt the Italian, mushroom-loving lumber back to the big screen. How could this movie be good? Well everybody loves an underdog story and what's more underdog than an overweight plumber and his brother on a quest to rescue a princess from a dragon/turtle monster. This has all the makings of quirky story of self worth and friendship.

Are there any video game movie adaptations that you are looking forward to? Let me know in the comments.
